💜 Hospitality Team

Looking for a way to support & serve others? Consider being part of the Hospitality Team!  This large group of volunteers assists with decor, food preparation, food serving and set-up/clean-up for receptions, concerts and a variety of other events hosted at Burke UMC. Men, women, and youth can all help as they are able.  Want to learn more or are you ready to share your time and talents as part of this important ministry? Sign up here!

💜 Greeters

Would you like to share your welcoming spirit with all who enter our doors here at BUMC? Greeters help make others feel comfortable and valued with a smile and warm greeting. They offer assistance as needed. Greeters are needed for our Sunday morning worship services and for special services held throughout the year. Individuals, couples and families welcome! Consider joining our Welcome/Connection Team as a Greeter by using this link.

💜 Connection Center

The Connection Center is BUMC’s informational hub on Sunday mornings.  Simple training is required. New volunteers are always welcomed.

💜 Sunday Morning Coffee for Fellowship Time

Help prepare beverages and provide clean up for BUMC’s Sunday morning time of Fellowship. Typically coffee, hot water for tea and ice water are provided on the Fellowship table in the entry area. Use this link to sign up or learn more!

 

💜 Altar Flower Delivery

Flowers bring a smile to all! Drivers are needed to deliver the Sunday altar flowers. Some weeks our altar flower arrangements go home with the people who donated them, but other weeks they get delivered to people who could use a little bit of extra beauty in their lives.
